Quizlet: Create Study Set

Quizlet allows users to create study sets for vocabulary. If made well, a teacher can reuse their own study sets year after year to offer to students, to play games in class and to quickly create small vocabulary assessments. Follow these directions to create a study set from scratch:

  1. Log into your Quizlet account.
  2. Click Create, then Study set to start a new flashcard set.

  3. On the next screen, be sure to enter a clear title for your study set. Add a description if necessary, then begin to enter your flashcards. A quick way to enter flashcards is by clicking the Tab button between each entry. Quizlet will also suggest auto-fill definitions.

If you want to alter visibility settings to just those in your classroom, change it at the middle-right side of your screen. You can also grant editing permissions to others if you wish.
  4. Click Create when you are all done with your study set.

From here, you can share the link with your students. You can also copy and edit a public study set to speed up the creation process.
