Before you start the semester (and before you can set up grade weights and/or the Schoology gradebook sync), it is imperative that you set up your categeories in PowerTeacher Pro. To create a category:
- Log into PowerTeacher Pro.
- Click Create in the upper right corner.
- Click Category from the dropdown menu.
- Click Select Classes to checkmark the classes relevant to the category you are creating.
- Type in a Name for the category.
- Recommended: Select a Color to differentiate between multiple categories.
- Click Save. Follow steps 2-7 to create additional categories.
