Reset PowerSchool Password (Parents)

If you have already created your PowerSchool Parent Account, but can't remember what information you used, follow this guide to recover your username or change your password. 

  1. Click on the Have Trouble Signing In link below the login screen.

  2. Depending on what you need assistance with, click on the tabs above.  If you forgot your password, click on the Forgot Password? tab.  If you forgot your username, click on the Forgot Username? tab.

  3. If you forgot your password, enter your Username and Email Address, and then click on Enter.

  4. An email will be sent to you with instructions on how to reset your password.

  5. Check your email inbox.

  6. Open the email from PowerSchool titled PowerSchool Password Reset Request.


  7. The email message contains a link to reset your password.  This link will stay valid for only 30 minutes.  If you do not click on this link and reset your password within 30 minutes, you will need to complete Steps 1-6 again.

  8. When you click on the link in the Password Reset Request email, you will be directed to this page.  Enter your information and your NEW password, then click on Enter.

  9. You will NOT be able to use the same password you used before.

  10. Once you have reset your PowerSchool Parent Account password, you will be directed to the PowerSchool Parent screen.
