Settings: Add a Preferred Name

Follow these instructions to add a preferred name (like a nickname) to your Schoology account.

1. Log in to Schoology.
2. Click on your name in the upper right corner, then click on Settings.
   
3. In the text box next to Preferred First Name, enter your preferred name.
   
4. Choose whether your preferred name will replace your first or show beside it.
   
5. Click Save Changes. Your preferred name will now appear either in place of or beside your first name.
