Troubleshoot: Recover Items from the Recycle Bin

Recycle bins store material you've deleted from the system. Recycle bins are located in the following areas of your Schoology account:  Account Recycle Bin, Course Profile, Group Listing, and Group Profile.  

Account Recycle Bin

The Account Recycle Bin stores deleted items from your personal resources.  To view a list of the deleted resources:

1. Click on your name in the upper right corner of the top menu.
2. Click Settings.
   
3. From the tabs at the top of your screen, click Recycling Bin.
   

Course Recycle Bin

To view a list of the deleted materials from one of your courses:

1. Navigate to a course.
2. Click on the Course Options dropdown in the left menu (underneath the course picture), then select the option for Recycle Bin.

Group Recycle Bin

To view a list of deleted group materials:

1. Navigate to a group.  
2. Click on the Group Options dropdown in the left menu (underneath the group picture) and select the option for Recycle Bin.
