Setting up the classroom projector to mirror the display of your computer is common and fairly simple to do. But you can also use the projector as a “second screen” or extended desktop to be able to work on one screen while projecting something else on the other. With extended desktop, applications can be moved from one screen over to the other.
Using Extended Desktop is especially helpful to maintain privacy, so that you can display something to your students on the large screen while taking attendance or inputting grades on your screen.
NOTE: Not all configurations may be supported on your computer. Check with the Tech Training Center or the Tech Support Center for more details.
