Add New Language Keyboard (Mac)

If you are taking a language course such as Mandarin, Spanish, or French, you will be asked to type with the appropriate tones and/or accents. In order to add a new language keyboard to your Mac:

  1. Open System Settings (or System Preferences).
  2. Click Keyboard.
  3. Select the tab Input Sources.
  4. Click the + button to add a new language.
  5. Select the language desired and click Add.
