Grading: Fill scores, flags, and/or comments

PowerTeacher Pro allows teachers to vertically and horizontally fill assignment grade cells with scores, flags, and comments. You would fill grades:

  • Vertically if, for example, you want to mark all missing assignments for students who did not make a submission and
  • Horizontally if, for example, a student withdraws from a course and you need to mark all un-submitted assignments as "Exempt".

To fill all scores with a score, flag, and/or comment:

  1. Log into PowerTeacher and launch PowerTeacher Pro.
  2. Click Grading, then Scoresheet to access student assignment grades.
  3. Navigate to the student or assignment that you want to fill.
  4. Click on the empty grade box, then fill in the appropriate score, flag, and/or comment. In this example, we are vertically filling all students with an exempt code and comment.
