In PowerTeacher Pro, teachers can export a variety of reports generated from their gradebook. These exports can be used to analyze data, create a backup file of grades, or to distribute to students as an overview of their grades in class. To navigate to the reports page and create a PDF report:
- Log into PowerTeacher.
- Click on PowerTeacher Pro to enter the gradebook.
- Click on Reports in the menu on the left-hand side of your screen.
- Click on the type of report you would like to run. Customize the Criteria, Students and Format tabs as desired.
- Once completed, click Run Report at the bottom left of your screen.

Once you choose a report, a page opens with options to finalize the content of the report. Each report has tabs for Criteria, Students and Format.
The criteria tab has various settings depending on the type of export. Generally, you can retitle your reports and choose which classes you would like exported.
On the Students tab, you can choose your entire class roster or export selected students. This is a great feature especially when having an individual parent/teacher conference or when sending emails to families about a student's grade. Alternatively, print an entire class to distribute grade updates during midterms.
Here, teachers can customize the export's orientation, headers and footers, and the page breaks. There is also the option for a signature line, in case students must get a parent signature on the printout.
To view past exported reports, click Report Queue when viewing the Reports menu on the left-hand side of your screen. From here, you can view running reports, download completed reports, or delete old reports.
