Chat: Install Google Chat on Your Phone

In order to have the same experience as texting students with the Chat app, you must install Chat on your phone. Follow the directions below to download and install Google Chat on your cellphone to contact students.

Iphone

1. Launch the App Store, and search for "google chat".
   
2. Click "Get" or the download icon.
   
3. Double-click to install.
4. Click "Open".
   

Android

1. Tap on the Google Play store and search "chat" or "google chat".
   
2. Click Install.
   
3. Once installed, click Open to access the app.
